What should you do with your makeup when you add highlights to your hair?

The warmer the weather the blonder your hair can become, because blonde highlights just say summer. But when you add highlights you will also need to adjust your makeup with warmth and definition.

The best way to do this, is to amp up your bronzer, blush, and adjust your lipstick.

The more olive your skin tone, the more bronzer and pinker a blush you can add to the overall look of your makeup. If you feel washed out and your skin needs to look healthier, a bronzer will help you glow and look more defined. And a bright and colorful lipstick just says summertime, so put away those neutrals lipsticks and add a lovely coral lip to your cosmetic bag. Here are some tricks to remember when you have added highlights.

Don’t forget to bronze around your forehead and ears.
Take a hard look at your eyebrows. Are they way to dark for the new lighter hair, if so fill them in with a product that is a shade lighter than what you have been using before you lighten your hair. My favorite product for my brows is the Blonde Brow Balm.
And don’t forget to define your eyes with lots of mascara and liner.
