It's 2022!

This is the time of the year that we reflect on the past and look to the future. When it comes to New Year resolutions, some are realistic and some, not so much. Here at David & Mary - The Salon Experience, our jobs are to help our clients make the best decisions to take care of themselves whether it be their skin, hair or makeup. It’s just not “Self Care” that we advocate, it’s self love. We believe that it begins at home, behind closed doors, and can be as simple as drinking more water, getting more sleep, eating less sugar and cleansing your face day and night.

Now you can move on to the things (or resolutions) that might take more energy and discipline. But the key to success is to start at a point that is natural and not overwhelming so that you can experience some achievable moments of self love.

Here’s a few tips for you to look fresh and modern for the new year that we can help you with at David & Mary - The Salon Experience.

Add an accent highlight next time you cover your grey to frame your face and help blend the grey.
Look at your eyebrows, do they need help? We can do a simple eye arch to clean up the stray hairs, tint any grey hair that has creeped into your brows or just make a brow consultation so we can teach you how to fill your brows in easily.

Let’s enter this year with a resolution that made the late, great, Betty White so beloved by many of us. She was once asked why she felt she lived so long. She answered by saying that it was her optimistic attitude about life. Let that be our resolution for 2022, to live with a bright eyed optimism for our future.
